20 songs for 20 years. A nostalgic taste of the 90s —> SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
Somehow it’s already been 20 years since I graduated high school. Since June, I’ve been thinking about making this new digital collage and playlist to celebrate. Finally caught a moment to do so. Narrowing down this playlist to only 20 songs proved difficult, definitely, some were embarrassing selections that I’m not about to claim — ha!
High school was the best of times, but also the worst. I was lucky to have a fun group of friends, but of course, with every group comes the drama. I spent a lot of time feeling lonely and out of place. Although I really miss being a carefree teenager with little to no worries.
Ever wish you could go back and guide your teen self? I would! I was so naive and clueless! That’s what you get when growing up in a small town. I’d tell her to not to worry about fitting in, you do you. Don’t focus on theatre as much, explore the other arts and keep dancing. Don’t wait for a boy to ask you to be part of school events. (When Mandy and I went stag to Purple & White and it remains one of my favorite memories.)
Enjoy these epic throwbacks and bask in the glory that was my Natalie-Imbruglia-haircut from senior year in photo 10. My 20-year reunion is coming up in July. I’m in the fence about going… Did you attend yours?

My annual end-of-year playlist is bringing ✨BIG CAP ENERGY✨ into the new year! I’ve been curating this list all year long. Truly, it is one of my favorite things to do. Although, today I just realized: “Wow! It’s the last day of the year!”. Then, I sat myself down for a few hours and made this fun Capricorn-inspired digital collage to go along with it so I could share it with you.
It’s a fun, eclectic mix featuring many of my favorite bands; probably my most autobiographical playlist to date. A lot of these songs tell a story about my year better than I will ever be able to. I hope that this music brings you joy into your life like it has mine.

Went on a quick date with Photoshop today so that I could share my latest playlist with you. This one is summer inspired. All the good memories that make summer tolerable: hanging on the beach in Bear Lake, dancing at Area 51 on New Wave night, concerts, and epic hangs.
This is a collection of fun, happy, groovy songs that will get me through the summer heat.
The main photo is the actress Samantha Robinson, from The Love Witch. A movie I need to watch, but so far only admired on Instagram. I just hope I look half as fierce in my big sun hats as she does this summer.
